Like its big brother: the Carapax JR. is inspired by the adult model and thus promises optimal off-road protection for all junior mountain bikers. The low weight, maximum head coverage and a long list of features give it an optimal price/performance ratio. The low weight comes from the Inmold manufacturing, where the upper shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS. This results in a solid surface connection, which is responsible for a very stable construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by the further polycarbonate shell Edge Protect. In addition, the rear and the temple area are pulled further down for the highest possible safety on rough trails. This creates an even greater head coverage. Large vents provide optimal ventilation, fly screens keep insects away from the head, the shield guarantees optimal protection in the field of vision. With the Run System Classic, which is combined with the height-adjustable Custom Fit, the bike helmet can be adjusted to the head. Optionally, the Carapax JR. can be retrofitted with the Multi-Fit Light rear light for better visibility.
