The PowerDome comes directly from ABUS production in Italy. It combines the successful features of the three top models with the proven features of its predecessor, the Aventor. With its excellent price-performance ratio, the PowerDome is the perfect road bike helmet for everyone. It is very lightweight and can be individually adjusted to the head circumference thanks to the Zoom Ace adjustment system. Ten air inlets and seven air outlets ensure optimum air circulation in every riding situation – even at high temperatures. The sophisticated ventilation is further enhanced by a sleek air scoop on the helmet: it is modelled on the PowerDome of powerful cars and gives the helmet its name as a functional design element. MIPS - What is it?

MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is an advanced helmet technology that plays a decisive role in protecting against oblique injuries. An additional sliding shell in the helmet reduces the rotational force acting on the head and brain. This minimises the risk of head injuries, especially during sporting activities such as cycling, where oblique impacts are particularly common. MIPS helmets offer improved protection and increase the safety of the helmet wearer.

• MIPS: impact protection that protects the brain especially when the cyclist's head hits the ground at an angle during a fall
• Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: dial at the back of the head for individual adjustment of the helmet to the head circumference
• Stitched straps: for optimum aerodynamics, the straps are stitched and therefore do not require a strap distributor – this means they fit particularly snugly and do not flap around while riding
• Floating padding: padding inside the helmet that clicks into place at several attachment points, making it more flexible and offering better ventilation and greater comfort
• Removable, washable padding: can be removed and washed by hand or replaced if necessary
• Plug-in fastener: for safe and practical handling, the straps are equipped with a classic plug-in lock (trident connection) for opening and closing.
  In-mould process: Production process in which the inner cushioning material made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) is foamed directly into the outer shell made of polycarbonate (PC), creating a durable and robust connection.
• Pigtail opening: thanks to a recess in the height-adjustable adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or braids.
